Bulgaria’s population is of a total of 7,364,570 people, state the final results of the Census 2011 presented at a press conference of the National Statistical Institute, FOCUS News Agency reporter informs.

Bulgaria’s population is of a total of 7,364,570 people, state the final results of the Census 2011 presented at a press conference of the National Statistical Institute, FOCUS News Agency reporter informs.

There are 3,777,999 women, which is 51.3% of the population, against 3,586,571 men – 48.7% of the population.

The population of the country has decreased by some 564,331 people (0.7%) in the time between the two censuses.
