Croatian wheat farmers have threatened with new protests unless they receive 1.60 kunas (0.22 Euros) per kilogramme of crops.

Croatian wheat farmers have threatened with new protests unless they receive 1.60 kunas (0.22 Euros) per kilogramme of crops.

Some millers have offered between 1.25 and 1.35 kunas, and even the country’s largest producer Agrokor does not seem to want to top these prices.

The farmers are threatening to go back onto the streets if the asking price is not met, daily Vecernji List writes.
