Twenty-two competitors from eight countries take part at the jubilee 25. Ohrid Swimming Marathon, due to start at noon on Sunday.

Twenty-two competitors from eight countries take part at the jubilee 25. Ohrid Swimming Marathon, due to start at noon on Sunday.

Bulgarian Petar Stoychev will attempt to score a record 10. victory at the Ohrid marathon, but he faces tough competition from several Macedonian swimmers, as well as athletes from Italy, Argentina, Canada, Brazil, Spain and Croatia.

The total prize money of the marathon amounts to US$25,000, along with the Denar 1,5 million support provided from the Agency for Youth and Sports.

Macedonian Telekom and T-Mobile Macedonia are the sponsors of this year's Ohrid Swimming Marathon.
