The third annual 2011 Marketing Excellence Awards were presented by the Greek Institute of Marketing (EIM) in Athens on Thursday night, under the aegis of the Greek ministry of development, competitiveness and shipping.

The third annual 2011 Marketing Excellence Awards were presented by the Greek Institute of Marketing (EIM) in Athens on Thursday night, under the aegis of the Greek ministry of development, competitiveness and shipping.

The award for Development of New Products and Markets went to Nestle Hellas for its "Nescafe Dolce Gusto" programme.

The award for Development of New Services and Markets went to Marfin Egnatia Bank for its "Marfin Savings & Health" programme.

The award for Management of Distribution Networks & Trade Marketing went to Elais-Unilever Hellas for its promotional programme "What will we eat today" for Knorr in the Carrefour supermarkets.

The award for Integrated Communications Marketing went to Hellas on Line (HOL) for its programme "Our customers are satisfied and spread the word".

The award for Management of Relations with Customers went to National Bank of Greece (Ethniki) for its "Customer Alert System" programme.

The award for Green Marketing went to Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company for its programme "Some forests have their own aura".

The Marketing Excellence Grand Award went to Hellas on Line (HOL) for its programme "Our customers are satisfied and spread the word", which amassed the most points among all the competing programmes.

Finally, the Lifetime Achievement Award went to the chairman of the Hellenic Marketing Academy, Prof. George Avlonitis (of the Marketing and Communications Department at the Economic University of Athens).
