The Ministry of Finance has launched a new issue of seven-year government bonds denominated and payable in euro. The endorsed nominal value of the issue is EUR 35 M.

Demand for the auction exceeds supply close to 3.5 times, with orders to the tune of EUR 120 M. This has been happening in the context of slashed credit ratings of countries from the European Union and is indicative of the successful issuance policy of the government on the domestic market.

In this way Bulgaria has consolidated its status as one of the most stable issuers of debt in the region.
