Bulgaria raised its export level to third countries in 2011

In 2011 the export of Bulgaria to third countries increased by 24.4 percent on 2010, exceeding EUR 8 bln., data of the National Statistical Institute shows.

In 2011 the export of Bulgaria to third countries increased by 24.4 percent on 2010, exceeding EUR 8 bln., data of the National Statistical Institute shows.

This country’s major trade partners are Turkey, Russia, Serbia, Macedonia and Ukraine – those form 52.9 percent of the export for third countries.

Its level has risen significantly, regarding South Africa, Canada, Egypt and China. The biggest drop has been marked at the export for Singapore, Syria, Peru and Vietnam.

The import from third countries in 2011 also marked a growth on 2010, coming up to some EUR 9 bln.
