Two men were killed Sunday when a mine left over from the 1990s war in Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) exploded while they were cutting firewood in a zone marked dangerous, local authorities said in a release.

The ačident očurred near the town of Lukavac, state television reported.
The victims are men aged 27 and 28, who were cutting firewood in a dangerous zone when the over 20 years old mine exploded.
Around 580 people have been killed in similar incidents since the Bosnian war ended in 1995.
