Graz hosts 'Check in Southeast Europe' conference, dedicated to Macedonia's business potential

An annual conference 'Check in Southeast Europe', under the title 'Investment Round Table Macedonia', is being held Tuesday in the Austrian city of Graz.

An annual conference 'Check in Southeast Europe', under the title 'Investment Round Table Macedonia', is being held Tuesday in the Austrian city of Graz.

The event, organized by the Austrian Steiermärkische Sparkasse Group and Austrian Economic Chamber, has brought together the most influential politicians and businessmen of SEE countries.

This year, the conference is dedicated to Macedonia and its business potentials, the cooperation with Austria, in particular Styria region companies that wish to expand their business ties with the SEE countries.

The Steiermärkische Sparkasse Group organized the conference in order to grant overall support to Macedonia' development potentials and business investments by initiating a cooperation between the key market stakeholders.

Vice-Premier for Economic Affairs Vladimir Pesevski and Macedonia's National Bank Governor Dimitar Bogov will address the conference, presenting Macedonia's efforts to maintain its macroeconomic and financial stability in turbulent time to representatives of the largest investors in the SEE region - EVN, Agrokor, Telecom and Austrian Commercial Attache/Advantage Austria Skopje.

The Steiermärkische Sparkasse Group is the largest bank and credit institution in Southern Austria. It has been servicing people for more than 185 years and currently employs about 6,000 staff at 480 locations in Styria and Southeastern Europe in particular.
