The Budget and Finance and Foreign Policy and Defense Committees with the Bulgarian Parliament approved at a joint session the draft bill, ratifying the Bond Subscription Agreement with BNP Paribas, HSBC Bank and Raiffeisen Bank International for issuing of bonds to the tune of up to EUR 950 mln.
Vice Premier and Finance Minister Simeon Djankov presented the draft bill to the MPs, pointing out that it would be better under the current circumstances foreign bonds to be taken than a resource from the home market to be withdrawn.
The parliament has to ratify the documents, in order for the deal to be finished, Djankov pointed out.
