Silent boycott of Serbian goods in Croatia

During 2009 Serbia imported goods worth USD 396.1 million from Croatia, while at the same time it exported to Croatia goods worth only USD 278.8 million.
In foreign trade with Croatia, Serbia recorded a deficit of USD 117.3 million.

From all the countries in the region, Serbia has the worst trade ratio with Croatia, despite the fact that both countries signed the CEFTA agreement.
Serbian businessmen claim that there are still many obstacles for the export of their goods to Croatia. The biggest problems pose non-tariff barriers, complicated procedures for export and negative media campaign aimed at Serbian goods.
