Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic extended Easter greetings to the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Irinej, to the clergy, monks and all believers.

Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic extended Easter greetings to the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Irinej, to the clergy, monks and all believers.

“Easter is a holiday of hope for a better future, justice, understanding and love for fellow men. By respecting true values we will achieve progress and stability in our society. I wish that we all spend the Easter holiday in peace, harmony and friendship”, reads the greeting from Prime Minister Cvetkovic

Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic has sent also Easter greetings to Catholic Archbishop of Belgrade Stanislav Hocevar, Catholic Church officials, the clergy and believers.

“On behalf of the Serbian government and myself, I wish you Happy Easter and to spend this holiday in peace, respecting tradition and spiritual values, solidarity, social justice, peace and reconciliation. May Easter bring joy and welfare to our homes and our common home, Serbia”, reads the Prime Minister’s greeting.
