New EU funds coordinator appointed

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bozidar Djelic said today that the appointment of Ognjen Miric as coordinator for EU funds at the EU Integration Office will spur more enthusiasm for using EU assistance.

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bozidar Djelic said today that the appointment of Ognjen Miric as coordinator for EU funds at the EU Integration Office will spur more enthusiasm for using EU assistance.

Djelic told Tanjug news agency that Serbia’s goal is to open all sections of the EU budget to its citizens and businesses by the end of 2011, including the ones intended for agriculture, even-balanced regional development and the economy of knowledge.

The Deputy Prime Minister thanked Gordana Lazarevic, who led this important public administration sector over the last few years with outstanding success.
