Croatian companies are trying to buy as many Serbian food producers as possible, with the help of the State and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), claim Serbian media.

Allegedly, the major names behind the plan in Croatia are Agrokor, owned by Ivica Todoric, Atlantic Group, in the ownership of Emil Tedeschi, and Kras, headed by Nadan Vidosevic.

The goal is to buy Crkvenka-based Jaffa, Vrbas-based Carnex, Pozarevac-based Bambi and Belgrade company Imlek.

The first step towards the realization of the plan was made as Atlantic Group bought Droga Kolinska, whose member is Soko Stark, at EUR 382 million.
