Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic will visit South Africa and confer with South Africa's Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Maite Nkoana-Mashabane on numerous issues.

Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic will visit South Africa and confer with South Africa's Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Maite Nkoana-Mashabane on numerous issues, including Kosovo's unilateral proclamation of independence, the Department of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa stated on its website.

The visit will also see the two countries strengthening their political, economic and cultural relations and facilitate the identification of priority areas for cooperation, the website reads.

According to the announcement, the ministers will discuss Kosovo's unilateral proclamation of independence and other issues related to the operation of the UN SC.

Besides the EU aspirations, Serbia uses all disposable diplomatic and legal means to continue its fight for territorial integrity in Kosovo, the South Africa's ministry stated, adding that Belgrade and Pretoria share the same positions on many international issues.

The ministers may also address the issues of draft agreements on visa liberalization for diplomatic and official holders of passport, avoidance of double taxation and a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the justice system domain.
