Serbian students receive scholarships for Cambridge

The agreement concerns the establishment of a programme by the Pexim Foundation for awarding Cambridge scholarships to students from Serbia and FYRMacedonia.
Assistant Minister of Youth and Sport Snezana Klasnja attended the signing of an agreement concerning cooperation between the Pexim Foundation and the Cambridge Overseas Trust.
The agreement was signed by President of the Pexim Foundation Mihail Petreski and Director of the Cambridge Overseas Trust Michael O'Sullivan.
The agreement concerns the establishment of a programme by the Pexim Foundation for awarding Cambridge scholarships to students from Serbia and FYRMacedonia.
Klasnja expressed thanks to the Pexim Foundation for making conditions for the young get the education at Cambridge.
She announced that the Fund for Young Talent and the National Employment Service will organise job fair in New Belgrade on 21 October to in order to provide support and help to young people to find a suitable job.
Petreski said that in partnership with the Cambridge Overseas Trust, the Pexim Foundation will provide € 145,000 for scholarships this year.
The President Pexim Foundation signed contracts with the winners of scholarships from Serbia Borjana Lazarevic and Marko Jevremovic.
British Ambassador to Serbia Stephen Wordsworth was also present at the signing of the agreement.
