Republika Srpska Prime Minister Milorad Dodik accused reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia-Herzegovina Mustafa Ceric of being the one most responsible for stirring up the recent conflict in Sandzak, in an attempt to achieve his own political goals.

Dodik said that Sandzak is not an administrative unit in Serbia but that it has historically assumed the characteristics of one, warning that "it is obvious and beyond doubt that it has some connection to Sarajevo."

"This is most evident in the work of reis-ul-ulema Ceric, who frequently tries to tie his activity within the Islamic Community to political goals. This is evident almost on a daily basis and I think that Ceric is the most responsible for stirring up passions in Sandzak," Dodik told.

Dodik pointed out that Serbia has its resources and state institutions and will find a way to solve the conflicts that have arisen.
