Income in Serbia RSD 46,156 per household

The average net income in households in Serbia was RSD46,156 in the second quarter of this year, while RSD40,056 was needed for personal spending.

The average net income in households in Serbia was RSD46,156 in the second quarter of this year, while RSD40,056 was needed for personal spending.

According to figures of the Republic Statistics Bureau, the biggest portion of the income was that from regular jobs 47.2 percent and from pensions 36.2 percent.

Within the payments for personal spending, the biggest portion goes to food and nonalcoholic beverages, 41.5 percent. In Serbia, 4.2 percent of the total income is paid towards clothes and footwear, 4.4 percent for entertainment and culture, 9.1 percent for transport and 4.2 percent for the equipping of households.

The most money for personal spending in households is needed in Belgrade RSD46,187, and the least in central Serbia 36,062.

According to the exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia for Sept. 16, one euro is worth RSD105.4813.
