Commissioner Füle to visit Belgrade today

European Commissioner for Enlargement and the European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan FÜLE will visit Belgrade on Friday, 17 September, as part of his commitment to visit the whole region of the Western Balkans during the second half of the year 2010.

European Commissioner for Enlargement and the European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan FÜLE will visit Belgrade on Friday, 17 September, as part of his commitment to visit the whole region of the Western Balkans during the second half of the year 2010.

"The message I will deliver in Belgrade will be to strongly encourage Serbian officials to address key challenges on the EU-reform agenda, including the judiciary, fight against corruption and ICTY cooperation." Commissioner Füle said ahead of his visit.

The Commissioner will meet with the President of Serbia Boris Tadic, Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Ivica Dacic, Minister for Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic, Minister for Justice Snežana Malovic and Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac
