Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic visited yesterday's Fiat’s design centre in Torino, where he was presented a new model of the car that will be manufactured in Kragujevac, in two versions – with five and seven seats.

Dinkic said for the occasion that this is the first time that he had seen a new model of Fiat’s car that will be manufactured in Serbia for the whole world, noting that this car has the typical Italian modern design.

He said that Fiat’s leadership confirmed that Fijat automobili Srbija will employ 1,433 workers more apart from the existing 1,000, so there will be a total of 2,433 workers at the beginning of mass production.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that the Italians have already started signing agreements with suppliers of equipment that will be installed in Kragujevac factory production halls in the course of next year.
