"Classes in general will be both theoretic and practical. At the end, post-graduates will become masters of arts...They will have the chance to upgrade their education with professors who are masters in their profession”, said faculty's dean Kiril Ristovski.
Minister of Education and Science Nikola Todorov welcomed the initiative for opening post-graduate studies at FDA, designed to cover analysis, theory and practice.
"This encompasses a fresh approach with an emphasis on the aesthetics and artistic context of theater, film, television art”, said Todorov announcing that the Ministry would procure a modern laboratory for the faculty worth 600.000 euros in a bid to boost the quality of classes.
The beginnings of FDA can be traced back in 1969 when the Department for Drama Actors was formed within the Music School, while ten years later it become an independent institution.
