Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bozidar Djelic will be on a working visit to Milan from 14 to 16 November, were he will attend a Serbia–Italy Business Forum.
Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bozidar Djelic will be on a working visit to Milan from 14 to 16 November, were he will attend a Serbia–Italy Business Forum.
The forum is jointly organised by the Deputy Prime Minister’s cabinet, the European Investment Bank, the Milan Chamber of Commerce (PROMOS), the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) and the Association of Lombardy's Industrialists.
The forum, initiated at a joint meeting of Serbia and Italy held in November 2009 in Rome, aims at improving interstate cooperation and establishing firmer economic ties between Serbia and the region of Lombardy.
The forum will also gather Vice-President of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Dario Scannapieco, Italian Deputy Minister for Economic Development Adolfo Urso and PROMOS President Bruno Ermolli.
Also present will be representatives of PKS, the Association of Lombardy's Industrialists, the Italian Foreign Trade Institute, the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA), the Italian Association for Support to Companies Abroad, the Italian Export Insurance Agency as well as representatives of the two countries’ banking sectors.
During his stay in Milan, Djelic will meet with Milan Mayor Letizia Moratti and President of Lombardy Roberto Formigoni.
A memorandum on bilateral cooperation of Italian and Serbian institutional partners is due to be signed on the occasion, according to a statement from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
