Serbian Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac and his Brazilian counterpart Nelson Azevedo Jobim signed an agreement on Nov. 29 in Belgrade that opens up the possibility of cooperation in the fields of military economy, education, medicine, science and technology.

After signing the defense cooperation agreement, Sutanovac told journalists that Serbia was also interested in the joint development of weaponry and military equipment, as well as joint foreign market entry.

He added that Serbia was aware of the size of Brazil and that the successes achieved by the Serbian defense industry in weapons and military equipment exports over the last few years should be kept in mind.

Jobim said that they had agreed to form a working group which would define the specific details and fields of possible cooperation and added that his country was also interested in forging cooperation between Serbia and Brazil's military technology institutes which he said were institutes that had much to contribute to the development of technology.

President Boris Tadic thanked Brazil's defense minister for his country's principled support of Serbia's efforts to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

A statement issued by the president's cabinet reads that Tadic and Jobim, after their meeting in Belgrade, said that there was great potential for consolidating bilateral relations between the two countries.

Im . I would love to see the above proposition by the serbian government come to fruition, but as always the serbians will fuck things up along the way as we usually do,this is mainly due to nothing more than greed and to that serbian mentality where we always want more for the amount of work that we do, So many companies have already come to us asking to do business and our government had rejected the vast majority of them for the simple fact that we demand too much.
When you live from day to day you cant look a gift horse in the mouth but from what i see that is exactly what our government does, because the boys who have the ruling and governing positions simply dont care for their people they only care for their own families.just look at how they live as compared to the rest of us.
we have had numerous opportunities in serbia and many countries have wanted and have offered to do business with us but our government has rejected them all because after they take their share for themselves people would ask as to where the profits and benifits are from doing business with these investors and our government would'nt have the answers and they know it!!
