Serbian Parliament to boost cooperation with Arab Embassies

Serbian parliament speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic and the ambassadors of Arab countries in Belgrade have agreed to intensify the cooperation between the highest legislative body and the embassies, the National Assembly released in a statement.

Serbian parliament speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic and the ambassadors of Arab countries in Belgrade have agreed to intensify the cooperation between the highest legislative body and the embassies, the National Assembly released in a statement.

The participants of the talks agreed that the relations between the committees of the Serbian National Assembly and the Arab parliaments should be improved, especially when it comes to bilateral and economic cooperation, and the fields of education and culture.

Djukic-Dejanovic pointed to the long tradition of good and friendly relations between the former Yugoslavia and the countries of the Arab world, and the collocutors agreed that a successful parliamentary cooperation can help boost not only the political cooperation between Serbia and their Arabic friends, but also the economic ties.
