Chief-of-staff of the Serbian Armed Forces Miloje Miletic took part in a meeting of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Military Committee in Brussels on Wednesday which stressed the necessity for greater participation of the partner countries in the process of harmonization and decision making.
The meeting discussed the military implications of the new strategic concept and the decisions made at the NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government in Lisbon, the Serbian Defence Ministry published on its website on Thursday.
The meeting underlined the need for a greeter participation of the partner countries in the process of harmonization and decision making. The objective of the military-political bodies will be to make such an approach more effective and more applicable in the field, concluded the meeting chaired by Admiral Giampaolo Di Paola.
At the margins of the meeting, General Miletic conferred with Commander of the Allied Joint Force Command Naples Admiral Locklear, KFOR Commander Erhard Buhler and his regional colleagues on security issues and future forms of cooperation.
