The Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia has published the second edition of EUROPA DIARY- WISE CHOICES in Serbian language that has been distributed to 2nd grade high school pupils in Serbia.

The Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia has published the second edition of EUROPA DIARY- WISE CHOICES in Serbian language that has been distributed to 2nd grade high school pupils in Serbia.

The publication is in use by three and a half million teenagers in the European Union countries. Serbia is the first country outside the EU where the Europa Diary is published and whose teenagers will use it to learn more about the EU during the 2010/2011 school year.

The project is funded by the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia and is implemented in schools with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia. A substantial support was also given of drafting some of the texts by the Office for European Integration of the Government of Serbia.

Delegation of the European Union will launch the second edition of EUROPA DIARY today in Belgrade at 11.00,Media Centar Belgrade, Terazije 3/I Speeches will be given by:

  • H.E. Mr Vincent DEGERT, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Serbia
  • Dr Žarko OBRADOVIĆ, Minister of Education to the Republic of Serbia
  • Mrs Catie THORNBURN, President of Generation Europea Foundation from Brussels
