Dinar strengthens against euro by 27 paras

The dinar will strengthen against the euro on Wednesday by 27 paras, setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 104.2735 = EUR 1, announced the National Bank of Serbia (NBS).

The dinar will strengthen against the euro on Wednesday by 27 paras, setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 104.2735 = EUR 1, announced the National Bank of Serbia (NBS).

In 2011, the Serbian currency was the strongest on January 27 (104.1572), and the weakest on January 6 (106.4947).

The central bank did not intervene in the interbank foreign exchange market on Tuesday, and since the beginning of the year it has bought EUR 5 million to alleviate excessive daily fluctuations in the exchange rate.
