The inflation pressure will increase over the next three months, followed by a mild drop in the summer, according to the latest forecasts by the Marketing Research Institute (IZIT).
Eighty percent of the companies surveyed predict price growths in the next three months, while none of them expect their prices to drop, IZIT states.
However, only 29 percent of the companies expect their prices to increase over the next six months, compared to last moth's 45 percent.
There are still no companies who expect their prices to drop, same as April, which is the result of caution and uncertainty when it comes to prices at home and abroad, according to IZIT.
The highest pressure in terms of price rises is found with the companies who sell raw and production material, both in the quarterly and semiannual predictions.
Industrial production is expected to go up slightly over the next six months.
These positive expectations come from an expected rise in foreign rather than domestic demand.
