Head of the Belgrade team for dialogue with Pristina Borislav Stefanovic said that there are party differences among Serbs in northern Kosovo and that attempts have been made to use the situation for party purposes, but that unity is stronger.

Head of the Belgrade team for dialogue with Pristina Borislav Stefanovic said that there are party differences among Serbs in northern Kosovo and that attempts have been made to use the situation for party purposes, but that unity is stronger.

Citizens are determined to endure and remain on their land and their state is behind them, Stefanovic told Jagodina television Palma Plus Saturday night .

He pointed out that whether someone violates the agreement will be monitored, and that barricades are an option to defend interests peacefully.

Stefanovic reiterated that the next round of talks with Pristina will definitely be held on September 5 in Brussels, and that it will focus on customs seals, but not on status or the crossings.

Commenting on the statement of the International Civilian Representative in Kosovo Pieter Feith that the government in Pristina has the right to assume control over the whole territory of Kosovo, Stefanovic said that nothing else was to be expected from Feith.

Feith's mandate is very vague and ambiguous, as he represents a non-governmental organization called International Civilian Office, which is entrusted with supporting Kosovo's independence, Stefanovic said.

He added that Pristina knows very well that the dialogue with Belgrade is needed in order to resolve misunderstandings and dilemmas.
