Minister for Kosovo Goran Bogdanovic said that the Serbian Government will prevent Pristina’s attempts to expel as many Serbs as possible from northern Kosovo by exerting additional pressure.
Minister for Kosovo Goran Bogdanovic said that the Serbian Government will prevent Pristina’s attempts to expel as many Serbs as possible from northern Kosovo by exerting additional pressure.
Bogdanovic said for the Belgrade Press Daily that Pristina synchronized the new plan for exodus of Serbs from the north of the province with the United States.
By banning busses from Central Serbia to enter Kosovo and with the beginning of construction of the bridge over the Sitnica River in the Serbian village Priluzje near Vucitrn, in the northeast province, Pristina is trying to build tension before the start of the school year, so that as many Serbs as possible leave northern Kosovo and move to Central Serbia.
The Serbian Government will help Kosovo Serbs in order to prevent realization of Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci’s intention, said Bogdanovic.
He accused the interim authorities in Pristina of grossly violating freedom of movement agreement reached in Brussels by turning away busses from Central Serbia.
