Vojvodina presented its best foods and beverages Wednesday at the 52nd Diplomatic Bazaar in London, with the help of the Vojvodina assembly and the Serbian Embassy.

Vojvodina presented its best foods and beverages Wednesday at the 52nd Diplomatic Bazaar in London, with the help of the Vojvodina assembly and the Serbian Embassy.

President of the Vojvodina Assembly Sandor Egeresi pointed out that Vojvodina had the chance to present its products at an event which attracts participants from over 60 countries across the world.

He said that the traditional bazaar, which is sponsored by the royal family, is especially important because proceeds from the sales go to charity.

"The companies from Vojvodina which donated their products at the same time got an excellent opportunity to present themselves to the British market, which offers a lot of open room and opportunities for cooperation, and also made a nice humanitarian gesture, since the proceeds from the Diplomatic Bazaar are intended for underprivileged children," Egeresi stressed.

Products for the Diplomatic Bazaar were donated by ethnic restaurant Capriolo from Backa Topola, Zdravo Organic from Selenca, meat processing company Industrija mesa Topola, the Kovacevic Winery, Mackov Podrum Winery, Vinum Lodi, Palic Vineyards and Atelje Radosevic.

The Serbian exhibit at the bazaar also showcased the Vojvodina Tourist Organization, PE Vojvodinasume, and international music festival Exit, according to a release from the Vojvodina assembly president's office.
