Head of the Serbian government's office for cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) Dusan Ignjatovic assessed Wednesday that there is political will and complete readiness on part of the Serbian authorities to arrest ICTY fugitives Ratko Mladic and Goran Hadzic, but that the two are well hidden.

He told B92 television that Mladic is obviously well hidden, and that "if he is still alive", he has so far been more successful than Bin Laden.

"We are cooperating adequately, but we are not getting results," Ignjatovic said, pointing out that efforts are being made to finalize cooperation.

Ignjatovic said he expects ICTY Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz to give an objective report, which should be dramatically different than all of his previous reports.

He added there is a high level of cooperation with the ICTY, but that the chief prosecutor is not satisfied, because Mladic and Hadzic remain at large.
