On Thursday evening, the Serbian police detained 35 people for violating public peace and order, after the arrest of International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) fugitive Ratko Mladic, Tanjug learned at the Ministry of the Interior (MUP).

For now, the police will file criminal charges against three persons, and one misdemeanour charge, the release reads.
In the afternoon and evening hours, several groups comprised of 20-30 people, mostly young citizens, attempted to organize protests due to the arrest of Ratko Mladic, but the police forces reacted in due time and prevented further incidents.
