Kosovo Police Service (KPS) spokesman Baki Keljani has stated that Serbian Education Minister Zarko Obradovic and his associates were not allowed to enter Kosovo as they did not have the Kosovo government's permission, even though they said they were on private visits.

We had information that this was an official visit, and in that case the Serbian officials are obliged to submit a request which needs to be granted by the Kosovo government, Keljani stressed.

Three officials Zarko Obradovic, Branko Ruzic and Veljko Odalovic were not allowed to enter Kosovo at the Konculj administrative border crossing, even though they were on private visits.

Keljani stated that the delegation was not allowed to enter Kosovo as they had not filed a request for it, nor did they have the approval of the Kosovo government.

Obradovic, who is Serbia's minister of education, told Tanjug that they were held at the administrative crossing for two hours, and that he was not allowed to cross despite his insistence that he is headed to visit friends in Ranilug.
