Italian President Giorgio Napolitano accepted the appointment of Ana Hrustanovic as Serbia's ambassador to Rome, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, according to ANSA.

The decision on Hrustanovic's appointment as extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Italy was signed by President Tadic, published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, and then enforced.
Hrustanovic was appointed Serbia's ambassador to Rome after the dismissal of Sanda Raskovic-Ivic.
