Scholars of “Dositeja” fund to have training at Piraeus Bank

After the signing of the Protocol, Samardzic-Markovic underlined that “Dositeja” has been established with the aim of establishing a system of values in which knowledge is respected, success recognised and work awarded.

 Minister of Youth and Sport Snezana Samardzic-Markovic and President of the Executive Board of Piraeus Bank in Belgrade Neoklis Neokleous signed today a two-year Protocol on business cooperation which stipulates that the best scholarship holders of the Fund for young talents "Dositeja" will get scholarships in the amount of €1,000 and professional practice in this bank, after which they will have an opportunity to get a job there as well.

After the signing of the Protocol, Samardzic-Markovic underlined that “Dositeja” has been established with the aim of establishing a system of values in which knowledge is respected, success recognised and work awarded.

We want to make our young talent more visible through cooperation with institutions and companies, she said and underlined that this protocol creates an opportunity for young and talented people who finish their studies in economics or finance to build their professional future in the team of the Piraeus Bank, Samardzic-Markovic said.

Neokleous pointed out that Piraeus Bank is very active in the field of socially responsible business, especially in the area of environment and added that this bank will launch several scholarship programmes.
