International Student Week to open in Belgrade

The opening ceremony will be held in the City Hall, where Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Snezana Samardzic-Markovic and Director of the City of Belgrade Youth Office Kosta Andric will address the present.
The International Student Week in Belgrade - ISWiB 011 will open Monday in Belgrade, and gather 200 students worldwide.
"The biggest student conference in Southeast Europe is aimed at pulling down the religious, racial and national barriers between young people across the world, and popularisation of the city of Belgrade and entire Serbia," spokesperson of the non-governmental World Youth Wave organisation Maja Radak told Tanjug.
She underlined that the aim of the International Student Week, which is held in Belgrade for the fifth time now, is to promote the idea of the citizen of Europe and the world.
The conference will be attended by 150 students from Europe and 50 students who are studying in Serbia.
