Dinar drops by 1.1 percent, middle exchange rate at RSD 103.38 for EUR 1

The dinar dropped significantly against the euro on Tuesday, going down by RSD 1.18, or 1.1 percent, so the middle exchange rate is now at RSD 103.3839 for EUR 1, the National Bank of Serbia has announced.

Compared to one month ago, the dinar dropped 2.2 percent. It is 1.2 percent stronger than it was a year ago.

The Serbian currency recorded its highest value this year on May 23, when the middle rate was RSD 96.7007 for EUR 1. The lowest value was recorded January 6, when the middle rate was RSD 106.4647 for EUR 1.

The indicative exchange rate against the U.S. dollar on Monday was RSD 73.5357 for USD 1, which was a drop of RSD 1.11, or 1.3 percent.

The dinar went up by 2.7 percent against the dollar in the past month. It is up 10.3 percent over the past year.
