German Ambassador to Kosovo Ernst Reichel believes that the crisis in north Kosovo can be resolved only through negotiations.

German Ambassador to Kosovo Ernst Reichel believes that the crisis in north Kosovo can be resolved only through negotiations.

He stated Monday that the German government is deeply distressed over the situation in northern Kosovo and that it condemns any use of force.

Speaking about the German government's view of the situation, Ambassador Reichel said that the solution should be sought only through dialogue, the statement reads.

Solution comes through dialogue only. Normalization of the situation in north Kosovo and particularly the issue of trade should be tabled in the ongoing dialogue mediated by the European community, he said according to the Albanian news agency ATA.

According to him, both sides should return to the negotiating table as quickly as possible.
