European Commissioner for Culture and Education has officially announced the results after several months of consultations in Brussels that Belgrade has been ranked as the first for the European Capital of Culture 2020.

The document of the European Commission directly influences the decision that will define rules of the project and future holder of the European Capital of Culture title after 2019.
