The barricades in the village of Rudare, municipality of Zvecan, will stay where they are even after the agreement reached between representatives of the Serbian government and KFOR commander Erhard Buehler.

The barricades in the village of Rudare, municipality of Zvecan, will stay where they are even after the agreement reached between representatives of the Serbian government and KFOR commander Erhard Buehler.

“We will not remove the barricades. Upon citizens' request, the members of the municipal assembly will hold a session to decide on the fate of the barricades,” Zvecan Municipal President Dragisa Milovic told citizens at the barricade in Rudare.

We do not want to go against state interests, but we have to think of the future of our children, Milovic added.

Zupce Municipal President Slavisa Ristic said that the members of the local self-government will voice their stand on the agreement on Saturday and that by that time they will stay on the barricades.

“We do not want to go against our state, but we ask from the state not to leave us if the response (of the members of the local self-government) is a negative one,” Ristic said.

After that, Stefanovic and Serbian Minister for Kosovo Goran Bogdanovic departed for Leposavic where they will meet with Serbs at barricades.
