Serbia's leading entrepreneurs are planning to establish a non-partisan economic movement, whose center will be in Belgrade, Tanjug was told by Nikola Pavicic, the honorable CEO of Tarkett company.

“The movement will be a non-partisan one. This means that we will cooperate with parties which have the program that we are promoting. We are not interested which one of the parties will be in power, but we are interested in its program. In keeping with our plans, we will offer support to those parties which really want to carry out reforms in Serbia.

The responsibility for the current situation should be equally laid on the opposition and the ruling coalition,” Pavicic said.

“It is impossible to be apolitical,” he said, and added that the businessmen, who are members of this movement, will support those political parties whose programs appeal to the majority of them.

Pavicic added that the basic role of this movement will be “to exert pressure on the authorities to start the implementation of reforms” since on the contrary “the Serbian economy will collapse”.

Pavicic could not precisely say when the official establishment of the movement will take place, but stressed that the initiative has been launched in the public and that formation of certain bodies, such as a coordination committee, will happen afterwards.

When asked about the essence of the movement's program, Pavicic said that this will be “a movement for renewal and reforms”.
