Serbian Minister for Kosovo and Metohija Goran Bogdanovic conferred Sunday with representatives of local self-governments of Kosovo and the head of the northern district of Kosovska Mitrovics on the details of conversations he had with the EU mediator Robert Cooper in Belgrade.

The meeting in Zvecan lasted nearly three hours and also focused on the meeting the presidents of the municipalities in northern Kosovo should have with the head of the Belgrade negotiating team in the dialogue with Pristina Borislav Stefanovic.

Bogdanović gave no statements to reporters, saying only that the meeting was constructive.

Bogdanovic said Friday after a meeting with Cooper that there was no alternative to dialogue and that they agreed the talks should be continued as soon as pošible.

The main topic of the meeting was the situation in northern Kosovo, Bogdanovic noted.

"We have agreed that the situation in northern Kosovo is unačeptable to all. We also concurred the dialogue should be resumed as soon as pošible and used to solve problems in Kosovo, including the north," he said.
