Seven arrested for involvement in Kolubara case

Serbia's Organized Crime Prosecutor Mirko Radisavljevic told Tanjug Thursday that another seven suspects were arrested in the investigation into malversations in the Kolubara case.

Serbia's Organized Crime Prosecutor Mirko Radisavljevic told Tanjug Thursday that another seven suspects were arrested in the investigation into malversations in the Kolubara case.

They will be questioned by the police today, and taken before the investigative judge on Friday, Radisavljevic specified.

He recalled that, besides former director of the Kolubara mining basin Dragan Tomic, another 16 persons were arrested in early October on suspicion of looting the company of over EUR 10 million, adding that the latest arrests were also carried out within the investigation into the case.
