The situation in northern Kosovo is peaceful, and a number of citizens are still standing watch at the barricades set across the north of the province.
KFOR soldiers and vehicles are still present in the village of Jagnjenica near Zubin Potok on the road to Zvecan, and are blocked from three sides with roadblocks formed from dirt and building trash.
By building a road which bypasses KFOR solders and their vehicles, the residents of Ibarski Kolasin managed Tuesday to reach the neighboring Zvecan municipality and northern Kosovska Mitrovica.
The 2.5-meter-high barricade in the Dudin Krs village in Zvecan municipality on the Kosovska Mitrovica-Leposavic main road, which KFOR tried to remove several nights ago, was cemented during the evening.
This is the second barricade that has been cemented in Kosovo, the first one being that on the main Ibar River bridge in Kosovska Mitrovica.
Despite the roadblocks in the Rudare village, vehicles manage to pass.
