The next round of the talks between Belgrade and Pristina has been scheduled in Brussels for Tuesday, February 21, and the Serbian delegation has confirmed its arrival.

The European Commission expects both sides to attend the meeting, which should focus on Pristina's regional representation.

"I can confirm officially that our negotiating team will be in Brussels on Tuesday for the resumption of the dialogue with Pristina," head of the Belgrade team for the talks Borislav Stefanovic told Tanjug.

He pointed out that Belgrade's proposals were on the table and had been adequately presented to the international community, who presented them to Pristina on several occasions.

The Belgrade team is willing to work towards an agreement on Kosovo's regional representation only and exclusively within the scope of Resolution 1244 and the Serbian Constitution and national interest, Stefanovic stressed.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton's spokesperson Maja Kocijancic told Tanjug on Sunday the delegations had been invited to the meeting and both were expected to arrive.

Kocijancic stated that both teams were expected to appear and stressed that the continuation of the talks was in the interest of both sides.
