Conference on activities to improve Roma health

The conference is organised in cooperation with the World Health Office in Belgrade, UNICEF office in Belgrade, the OSCE mission to Serbia and the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, Public Administration and Local Self-Government.

The Serbian Ministry of Health is organising a conference on activities aimed at improving the health of the Roma in Serbia.

The conference is organised in cooperation with the World Health Office in Belgrade, UNICEF office in Belgrade, the OSCE mission to Serbia and the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, Public Administration and Local Self-Government.

It will officially be opened on 28 February at 18.00, at the Belgrade Philharmonic, Studentski Trg 11, while the working part of the conference will be held on 29 February at 9.00, at the Palace of Serbia, Bulevar Mihajla Pupina 2, Yugoslavia Hall.

The press will be addressed on 29 February at 10.00 by Minister of Health Zoran Stankovic, State Secretary of Human and Minority Rights, Public Administration and Local Self-Government Slavica Denic, chairman of the Roma National Minority Council Vitomir Mihajlovic, WHO Regional Director for Europe Zsuzsanna Jakab and OSCE head of the Contact Point for Roma and Sinti issues Andrzej Mirga.
