The Serbian government has said in a release that the Central Securities Depository (CSD) issued free shares in Telekom Srbija Thursday.

The Serbian government has said in a release that the Central Securities Depository (CSD) issued free shares in Telekom Srbija Thursday.

Of the total of one billion shares in Telekom 6.94 percent of the shares went to employees and former employees, whilst a further 15 percent was distributed to the public.

The starting price for a share in the telecommunications company will be EUR 2.27 and every citizen will receive 31 shares, says the release.
