Hungary to join the Azerbaijani-Georgian-Romanian energy project AGRI, implementation of which will transport the liquefied gas from the Caspian region to Europe. Told President Traian Basescu, after talks held in Bucharest, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Janos Martonyi, said the correspondent UKRINFORM.

According to Traian Basescu, joining of Hungary to the project was obvious, since the end of this year will be ready transportation system, which connects Romanian and Hungarian gas network. The Hungarian network, respectively connect with the Austrian, and, thus, liquefied gas from the Caspian region could easily be supplied in individual EU countries.
AGRI (Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania Interconnector) - Azeri-Georgian-Romanian project on the transportation of liquefied gas to Europe. April 13, Romania, Azerbaijan and Georgia signed in Tbilisi an agreement on the establishment of a joint company that will carry Azerbaijani natural gas through pipelines Black Sea coast of Georgia, where the gas is liquefied Bude on a special terminal after which the tanker will be delivered to the terminal in the Romanian port of Constanta. In the future, gas will lead to a state of natural gas will flow to consumers Romania and other European countries. The project is estimated at 4-6 billion euros.
In June, the Minister of Fuel and Energy Minister Yuriy Boyko said that Kiev intends to join the project deliveries of Azerbaijani liquefied natural gas via the Black Sea in Romania, and buy about 10 billion cubic meters of gas annually.According to the Ukrainian Minister, the terminal for the adoption of Azerbaijani gas to be built in Odessa, but for this project will have no more than four years.
