Polish police have detained Chechen separatist leader Akhmed Zakayev, a World Chechen Congress spokesman said on Friday.

Polish police have detained Chechen separatist leader Akhmed Zakayev, a World Chechen Congress spokesman said on Friday.

The spokesman said Zakayev was detained while on his way to the Polish prosecutor's office to discuss a Russian extradition request for him.
