Croatia: Fire raging in southern Dalmatia

A wildfire started close to Solin, Dalmatia in Southern Croatia, at about 06:00 a.m. local time.

A wildfire started close to Solin, Dalmatia in Southern Croatia, at about 06:00 a.m. local time.

The smoke of the flames have reached Split, an administrative center of Dalmatia, Croatian Dnevnik news website reports.

Two helicopters have joined the firefighters from Solin, Kastela and Split. All roads are open, but the smoke reduces visibility in some areas.
